I love all types of music but I think my most favorite would have to be rock/alternative. Bands like Linkin Park, 30 Seconds To Mars, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Hinder, POD and others in most recent years have influenced my style but I'm still a die-hard to the classics. I've loved Ozzy since I could walk, Black Sabbath, the early years with Randy Rhodes, and then on to the best years. I've seen this guy 13 times in concert. Which brings me to my next all time favorite and a tie, as far as concerts, 13 times, Metallica. I've banged my head a time or two since I was 13, plus growing up in the Bay Area, where this band has influenced countless others. Watching Friday Night Videos, back in the day when we did that kind of stuff LOL, I loved A LOT of the 80's rock bands, like Quiet Riot, Y & T, DIO, Maiden, Queensryche, Montrose, Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Aldo Nova, Van Halen, Guns & Roses, Motley Crue, and MANY many more! I've had the luxury of seeing well over 100 concerts and I think I have the most appreciation of the music while watching them actually perform outside the studios. I'm thankful I've passed my love of music onto my son. Now if I could only convince him to be a RoCkStAr! LOL I loved working at Studio 54 back when I was 18/19 and seeing all the R & B bands and hip hop peeps, Salt & Pepa, Stevie B, Corinna, Timmy T and many others, back then when I had my Honda Prelude and a kickin stereo with 15's in the back, those tunes hit hard and I could appreciate a good bump! I also remember a time when I even enjoyed the "punk/alternative" scene, Depeche Mode, Misfits, TSOL, the Cure, OMD, Psychodelic Furs and all those types. I think I can listen to just about any song and tell you when I first heard it and what I was doing, especially those songs before 1988 when Music reigned SUPREME in my life above EVERYTHING else, that was before I got preggo! LOL
