The poem of the day, dear lady.I often just sit and wonder"what do you see in me?"how could even a friendship with such an angel be?What is it that you seem to sense that others do feel?It overwhelms to the point that i wonder if you're real.Will I awaken in the morning to find myself all alone,crying my heart out over where and why you've gone?Or has fate finally smile on me for being a good manand sent to me an angel that will love and understan'?I guess the future will show what happens and how,I am going to relish life and love in the here and now.All say that you are an angel standing here with mebut when I look in the mirror I wonder what you see.

What is it my noble heart that makes you now hesitateYou have been acting more and more strange as of lateAfter having taken me through childhood and the warwhy do you choose to fail me as you never have beforeHow is it that you falter after what you've been through?Why do you let a lady like her have such an effect on you?Why is it that when nothing ever gave you a real scare,she can manage to do it with tenderness and gentle care?You know that it only the pain of when love is untruenot really this beautiful lady that truly does scare you.Steady up and make yourself ignore the chance of painfor if she is all she seems there is happiness to gain.

I let loose the halters as we clear the gatethey take off as if they are already very latekicking up their heels they jump and runtearing through the pasture having fun.They rip and tear around the whole fenceand then they slow so it can commenceThey drop their heads and sniff the groundthen for a little bit they just spin aroundSee their weakening in their strong kneesand then they lower themselves with easethey lay down and rock for a bit to and froall of the sudden a big rock, over they goThey roll to one side and then back againeven when it starts to becomes a strainwhen they tire it's back up to their feetthen they finds soft sweet grass to eatIt is always such a happy treat to seeat least I must admit that it is for meI hope that someday you will see it tooand that it will be a great thrill for you.

While strolling along the path of Life one daya stranger approached and I heard him say"The greatest gift of all to you I will gladly give,immortality, have no fear for forever you will live"With joy I thought what it might truly meanI could see all of the wonders man has seenI go dare to risk the climbing of mountainssearch for lost treasures and fabled fountainsSolve the riddles that have plagued men soand the ways of honor to learn and showI would time to find the true love of my lifeand happily live with her as my loving wifeSecure in the knowledge I'd be by her sideall through her life until the day she diedI'd watch my children grow old and grayand them as well I would see pass away"Kind sir, it is not that appreciation I lackbut I truly wish that you would take it back.To you it may not make sense or rhymebut death gives the meaning to my time.""I wish I had taken time to think it throughwhen it offered to me like it was to youfor it is the suffering with which I must liveuntil I find another to which it I can give.""I did not see the pain that it would bringtoo busy thinking it was a blessed thingNow I to see it as what some call a cursebut I tell you it is something so much worse."He bowed his head and walked slowly awayas he left under his breath I heard him say"I am so sorry my love it will yet another daybefore I can see you I must give this away"

Coming down to clean this dirty world againit falls upon the mountains high and the plainwashing the dust off that has gathered thereand even washes clean the stink from the airWhile we live our lives and without concernfor the pollution we make and forest we burnnature tries to produce that cleansing raindespite great damage done by man's reignWe are even so full of ourselves as to thinkthat we know we are on the very nasty brinkwe are all just thinking, nobody really knowswhat will truly happen or how the future goesI know that nature can heal itself like beforeto turn this world into a paradise once moreI just do not know if then, we will still be aliveor some yet unknown form of life will thrive.Nature has survived things far worse than menmeteor collisions and all, it can do it all againbut is man smart or strong enough to persistor by his own smugness will he no longer exist.

Sell not your soul to the devil to rid yourself of paineverything you will lose and nothing will you gainthe pain will pass and then the joy of life you'll feelas long as you keep in mind the things that are realThink of those that will always love you so dearkeep them and their precious memory so nearfor they will always help you to endure the painuntil life is right at last and you can laugh again.There is one thing that they taught me in the Corpand it is something that I have had to use beforepain's a reminder your alive and have not been beatso use it as an alley to help you back on your feetThink not about how bad the pain is that you endureor it will cause a sickness no medicine can ever curebut think of how you carry on with dignity and pride let that knowledge make you a better person inside
