As I've expressed before, I am heavily involved with art and philosophy and believe in being persuant with ones passions and way of life. I studied a year at Pratt Institute in Architecture/Fine Arts before enlisting in the Marines, but I cannot remember a time when I did not draw. To be specific, most of my art revolves upon pencil, charcoal and ink for my calligraphy. I love figure drawing and I'll never tire of fantasy. I also enjoy crafting tatoos for friends who want something meaningful besides looking really cool. I'm not specialized to art style per se...although I frankly disslike drawing anime. (I cant help but think that an acute angled jaw or eyes that curve around three-quarters of the head are creepy.) My martial arts branch largely from Aikido and Kendo, My greatest weapon being the staff or spear, followed by the Katana and dual machette. I also love the falcatta and the italian broadswords, and very much enjoy the bull-whip. Of course, being in my line of work my proficientcies do not stop with the weapons of the old world, but I feel I can pour more of my soul into them and discover the greater hights I dare aspire. Dont become a jack of all trades and a master of none-become a Renaissance man or woman and let your passions flow through as many ducts and channels as you can. This doesn't mean resort to reckless abandon, but just to give some emphasis to the inner life-because if you just slave to take care of the matters of the day-you'll find your life wanting in the end.
