The Black Heart Epidemic is a group of dedicated musicians who had been working within the same local music scene for years. The group went through several different members before settling in on the final five, each of them bringing their own creative influence to the music. With such diverse backgrounds, the band employs a sound unique to its genre. Moses Whitlock, former singer of the infamous band “Medicated Savage†is able to seamlessly transition from aggressive screaming to heartfelt singing. Nicolas Zalowski, known from earlier groups such as “The Aeon Saga and Collapse into Reasonâ€, is a Bassist and Vocalist that plays his instrument more in the style of a piano and who often takes the lead melodic role. Pawel Watracz, former Guitarist for “Sever the Skies†who both supports the band with rhythmic guitar styles and plays lead melodies. Sarah Hinchliffe, a classical Cellist who made appearances in local tribute band “Negative Creep†gives bass support, adds euphoric undertones and often plays lead melodies. And Justin Camp, also former member of “The Aeon Saga†is a Drummer who accents the talents of the other four and ties everything together.
