You can upload any kind of photos you like... If you have anything that would be considered 'risky' then you should make a NSFW (not safe for work) folder and put those in there... Otherwise, people just put whatever they like up. Friend, family, funny things and etc...
I'm not sure if you have figured out the shoutbox so... The easiest way to chat with someone is to send them a Shout... Just click on 'send user a quick shout' on their page and type what you want there... If someone else has sent you a shout, you just click on their name and a small box pops up...
