there are a lot of illigitamate groups, so I understand what you mean. EVP's are a big part of an investigation, but you would not be the one reviewing tapes, along with video recordings. Depending on size and so forth, would determine the length of the investigation. Not all properties are haunted, but become haunted if the person themselves are haunted.
