About myself...Im a mom of two wonderful girls. We've had some pretty rough years, and tough times still seem to keep coming. My oldest daughter was diagnosed with cancer back in 2006. We just found out in Dec 2008, the cancer has returned. Due to complications from the cancer we had to amputate her leg. We started chemo the first week of Jan 09..and things are tough. She has underwent 2 surgeries to remove the tumors from her lungs this summer, and we are now starting radiation (Nov 09). They have found a lymph node that is diseased & inoperable. So she will receive radiation to that too as well as the lungs.

So many say Im a strong person and Im amazing. Somedays I dont feel so strong. I feel numb and exhausted. But what I do for my kids, it's because Im their MOM and I do the best I can.

In Dec 2007, I met the most wonderful person. He helped me thru so many tough times, the car accident that the girls almost died in, all of Sarah's surgeries to rebuild her leg afterward. Then the rediagnoses of the cancer. No man wants a woman with such baggage, but he did, And he's still here. And we are blessed to have him in our life. I don't know where I would be with out him.

So if Im not on here as much as I used to be, I hope you all understand. Life is changing for me once again, and with that I sacrafice my time, to spend it with the family. To make memories that could be gone and I can't get back.
