MOVE OVER LAW ALL STATES NEED TO FOLLOW SUIT!! As some of you know I'm a 25yrs vet of towing California,Nevada and Arizona!There's a law that was passed in Texas of move over when you see an emergency vehicle on the side of the road like a tow truck and the driver,because we to are considered FIRST RESPONDERS in our line of job!We need to make this a nationwide law across America,there have been numerous drivers who have died in the line of duty doing their job as a tow truck driver,not counting officers and highway workers because folks not paying atenttion to whats going on beside the highway,or a construction zone!I know some states have passed the law with stiff fines,but we need to do more to get the word out to get other states to follow in suit!I to have had close calls like having my mirror's taken off by truckers or motorist's not looking numerous times I had to jump on the bed of my truck to keep from being hit!Yes we have dual controls on our trucks but being on the passenger side we can't see what's coming!A good friend of mine in Nevada he had 9 life's and the company got smart to send us out to run block for drivers so they wouldn't get hit,another time in California my fellow tower had a pick up with a U haul trailor broke down in a construction zone on I-15 I backed him up as a block to keep traffic from hitting him and the customer cause as you know some zones aren't lit and very dark!Honestly I can't focus enough to get my point across that we need to go nation wide to get a "MOVE OVER LAW" passed to where we're protected by a law for our safety in our line of duty as a tow truck driver!Another instance I'll use I was a call on I-15 in Vegas where my customer had left the car I had my flashers and lightbar going,and a fellow driver told me over the radio to shut my lights off,well I kindly told him over the radio where to get off at!So call you lawmakers and help us get a law passed across the U.S. to move over when seeing us on the side of the highway,this includes police officers and all first responders doing their job!LETS MAKE THIS A NATIONWIDE LAW!!!!!
