| ok heres my issue. Something that i have been going bk and fourth for a while now.. my mom and dad are divorced. My dad a few yrs ago just moved bk here after being away for 12 yrs. My mom and dad were getting along great until my dad got this new girl friend. Shes been joking refering to herself as my mom (now mind you my mom is the one that raised me since i was 12 as my dad was not around for reasons he himself could not help) So there is no way this girl friend could ever replace her mom in anyway. But she is buying things and putting on them from mom (and saying those gifts are from my real mom with out even telling my mom before she does it) Now my mom has taken some major offense to this. Dont get me wrong i understand why. And now refuses be around the girl. So if she knows my dad and his girlfriend are gonna be showing up. She leaves as soon as she can. Now this will make things hard for me to plan family get togethers for holidays and what not for my kids. Mom says she is gonna say something, but if i know my mom as well as i think i do. She wont say a word. My dad thinks his girlfriend is just kidding about the whole being my mom and he says she is just tring to fit in. Soo heres the mum part.. what would you do? Just move on and try to plan things soo mom and dad can be there at different times? Or Try and find away to help my mom talk to them about what is bothering her? If so how? |
