So two of my good friends got engaged last year, and asked me to be a bridesmaid. The last time we talked about the wedding, the bride-to-be said that they were having an out of state wedding, and she had it all planned, etc etc etc.
flash forward to earlier this month. I made the comment that it's getting close to her wedding (in October) and that she's probably going in for her final fittings on her dress... She says nope, that she's just going to go in and buy something off the rack. *blank stare*
I ask about bridesmaid dresses, because I'm tiny and I know I can't wear anything off the rack, and she comments that we still have plenty of time to get that all figured out.
I now have less than 2 months to figure out if I'm a)going to pay for a bridesmaid dress, have it rush altered to fit me, without knowing anything at all about the wedding colors or the style of dress that she's wanting, or b) figure out some way to politely remove myself from the wedding party... |
