I'm 37 years old and mom to 2 great kids ages 20, my son, and 13, my daughter. Still a happy owner of a Bariatric Gastric Bypass after 2 years and the loss ofover 100 lbs.! Sept. 28, 2006 was the day my stomach was cut and stapled to the size of a thumb. Why did I join? To talk to people that have had the surgery, know Alaska and don't mind passing on info, share my interest and to see if there are other interests out there I might like to have. Friendships are always welcomed. But please remember that, "Respect for others comes first by respecting yourself." I got another, "I'm saner single and so are my kids." I mean get real, you're in front of a moving picture box talking with a typwritter, not in a bar with crash and burn lines, so drunk that you forgot to zip your fly.
