The other night a friend of mine went to a concert (Perpetual Groove www.pgroove.com in Raleigh, NC )and had a good time. I made it to the front to watch the musicians preform and enjoy the music. I am a 6'3 tall man and built like a basketball player. As I am up front dancing and enjoying my self the shorter people (men & women) kept trying to push themselves in front of me to watch. Now getting to the front row is not an easy task at a sold out concert. Since I was on my own here, and most of the young kids were in groups (which mainly talked during the show) I figured they can move or let me blend in. I did feel a little bad but figured what they heck, so I danced and enjoyed.
Now the question is.... Was I too tall to to be enjoying the concert in the front row (which I ended up doing) or should I fallen back and let the little people watch up close and just relax?
BTW, I did let two cute girls break in front of me to dance... heck one was only 4'11". And here is a picture from the front row of the crowd so you can see how over packed it was. |
