Little boy oh so sweet
He's like one you'll never meet
Heart sincere, honest, and right
But all his life he's had to fight
Shot at five and in a gang
Oh he's had so much pain
Stabbed 25 times in the heart
The devil tried to kill him but God had him from the start
So much death he has seen
But his heart's so pure and so clean
Left and abandoned by his dad
The Lord and his mom was all he had
Hurt and scarred by so many
Gives so much love when he barely had any
So many storms he's been through
But God had a plan he just never knew
A strong young man he's become
It took a faithful woman to raise this son
Serving the Lord through it all
Even if they may have had a stumble or a fall
A testimony to tell and a testimony to give
A testimony, because that's what he's lived
