My name is Jonie.

I have not been on this site for awhile due the death of one fantastic woman and my best friend Mariana aka Harleys .


Mariana and I became friends online, and it changed as years went by to a closer more family-like friendship. Mariana cannot be explained in a few words, but I will just give you an idea: STRONG, STUBBORN, INDEPENDENT, INTELLIGENT, DRIVEN, SENSITIVE, CARING, GIVING, GORGEOUS, TALENTED, BEAUTIFUL IN SOUL.


As we got to know each other more, she introduced me to her family, especially her brother Allen. Vacations and big rides to Las Vegas came up before I was able to get to know Allen more, and on the return trip home he was taken from us.


Mariana, as expected, took this hard. She had lost a part of herself, similar to losing your leg. She put on a tough face, and starting working to make things better. After a few months, in February or so of 2007 I introduced her to someone special, and they hit it off instantly. She also then introduced me to Jake, her younger brother, who was helping her out with her business since Allen's death.


I made plans to visit her/them in July of 2007, she told me she was heading off to Greece to visit family for a bit, but would be back in time for me to get there and have a week of partying together. In June of 2007 she was involved in a fatal accident on her way to the airport, and taken from her young daughter, family, and friends. We all were crushed, lost, depressed, and in shock.


Jake and her best friend CC contacted me, let me know what was going on, asked for my support, and help. Contacting her online family was difficult, and showed me what a great group of people she had become to know. I did what I could from a distance. We keep her page going, just as a reminder of her and what a spectacular person she was.
