so just to give a lil context, i live up in the arctic in this remote, isolated lil village of 250 people, three hours away from any kind of service, my village boasts a gas station (think dirty truck stop) and thats about it....
so today, i'm driving home to said village, traveling Mach 1 on the highway, and I hit a rock and blow a tire, so i manage to get it over to the side of the road, thankfully, and proceed to sit around waiting for someone to come along to help change the tire, cause while i understand the logistics of it, i've never done it.....so low and behold, rescue comes, changes tire and i'm all good to go again....
my question is, do i tell the supervisor, keep in mind this is my work car, and i not only blew the tire but i cracked the rim too, i rock i know....so do i tell the supervisor....
A) I was flying around at Mach 1, not paying attention and ran over a rock (more like a boulder but still)....
OR
B) I was cruising along @ the speed limit and was forced to swerve to save the life of an innocent bunny rabbit, and hit the rock.... |
