I enjoy dancing, reading, movies, classic rock, the beach (am drawn to water), the mountains, football, a great thunderstorm, and just relaxing at home with someone special. I am not a "typical" woman, which I guess is why most of my friends are men. I have a 10 year old daughter and a 21 year old son, a very affectionate dog and a guinea pig, none of which are "typical" either.... I'm not even going to try to explain that one, really, you're just going to have to trust me for now!

I am looking for an honest, emotionally stable guy with a rational head on his shoulders and similar interests. Personality, dependability, and a sense of humor are more important to me than looks, since they last much longer than looks do (although chemistry is a must, gotta have that spark!). I am looking for someone to complement me, not to complete me. This online stuff does tend to get discouraging, but I'm an optimist and will neither quit trying nor lower my standards. I will not put up with lying, cheating, or playing games - total honesty is a must, and I will give the same in return. And, YES, I am dead serious about that!!! Also, I know everyone has baggage to one degree or another, but please have yours packed away into no larger than a small carry-on bag.

As a very good and wise friend once told me: Never consider someone a PRIORITY who considers you an OPTION.
