I live in a village in NE Oklahoma that's remote at best. To put it in perspective, the entire county has one traffic signal, and I can see it from where I live.

I am also a relocated Californian from Orange County. I have lived directly on the ocean's edge. Close enough to flip rocks into the sand from my deck. Let me assure you, that is a life changing experience. Not the rock flipping, of course, but being able to actually feel the waves hit the shore is. That and being close to an untamed shore is different too. For instance, having a gray whale pop up in your cove is not something that happens to most people. The girl that was sunning topless on my beach thought it was cool as well. So when I mention having culture shock, you may appreciate the differences.

OK, now onto the Friends List part. I have been on here for four years and in that time the number of members has increased considerably. Sadly, I find a huge proportion of the members here are really off the wall. So, to make a point in advance to avoid any hard feelings or upsets, here are my ground rules. If you fan me, drop points, or whatever, that's fine. It was your choice. It does not accrue any obligation on my part to respond in kind. If I drop by your profile and "fan" you or whatever, it's because I appreciated what I found there. Simply that. In general if you are one of the many members that still believe in fairies, goblins, or the supernatural or have an undying urge to post fantasy images, you are not likely to be added to my list. So to sum up my preferences, I am not likely to add Fubar Point Whores, illiterates, fantasy fans, or fringe members. The same goes for members that leave their "About Me" section blank or have trouble figuring out that the word "your" is a possessive pronoun and not the contraction "you are". Having said all that please disregard any of the above if you are a girl that is totally freaking hot or have many, many hot friends.
