Alright folks...here's my mumm...
An email was sent out earlier this week by the IT at Corporate HQ (I do IT at one of the plants) warning all employees about one of the many new email threats. The reason being we had a nice rash of folks opening up emails and infecting their systems and some others. The subject line was placed in the Email in big bold letters and in Red saying if you get this please don't open, delete it. (short phrase of it).
Well...needless to say after that, people opened them up, and the sad part is the majority were management staff. So a lot of my week was spent cleaning up PC's.
Here's the question...if you get a warning email like that from your IT department are you going to:
A) Heed their warning and delete the email
B) Be a curious george and open it anyways?
And in light of this...comment and tell me if you think you work with people that fall in the B category!
