The paternity hearing for my son is being held tomorrow. I have two options, dependant if he just admits he's the father or if he makes me put my son through a blood test...
1. Go after him for child support. He'll be the named father, and if he chooses to be a bad one, atleast my son can know he's around. If he wants them, he'll have visitation, but isn't a father supposed to?
2. Ask him to waive his parental rights. I won't have child support (which means I'll need help from the state until I finish my degree in a year). He won't ever be able to take my son away for weekends and holidays.
NOTE: This man closed his bank accounts, left his state job for a bartending job off the books, and left his apartment to live with his brother so his name wasn't on the lease. It took the state 14 months just to find the man. He's vindictive. And obviously not the best influence.
