| I had surgery March 13th and have been out of work since the 12th. I am due to go back to work on May 14th. But I work for a grocery store that is busy. And due to restrictions I will not be able to go back to my regular job. My boss has already told me that I will be working with another department. I am high risk. I have really bad asthma, a heart condition and high blood pressure. Personally I’m scared. But do you think it would be wrong of me to call my pulmonologist and ask for medical leave for another 8 weeks?! I feel bad but I know that they have been cutting hours at my job so me being out longer would save them in the long run. So do I suck it up or call my dr? |
