So i am in the middle of a divorce, my husband thinks i should change my name back to my maiden name, but i don't want to. The main reason for this is that our son has his last name, and I want to keep the same name as my child. The secondary reason is the paperwork and time involved just doesn't seem worth the trouble to me. I'm wondering if people think it's wrong to keep the mans name if the marriage is over, or if it's really no big deal.
