OK folks, I run across this time and time again on here. Potential new friends just take off in the middle of conversations without a damn word, and then to follow up that rude behavior, they also start tell me they are going to do things, such as they will get on line and chat with me at a certain time, or will call me at a certain time, etc, and yet they simply don't do what they say they will, nor do they inform me they can't do what they say because something came up.
Now folks, it's such a very easy thing to me that if I'm in a conversation and have to leave, even suddenly, for me to type in "gotta run", "bye", or "BBL", rather than to leave them hanging wondering what's going on... and it's also equally easy to do what to hell I say I'm going to do, and if something happens that prevents me from doing what I've said I'll do, then it is so easy to call, text, or e-mail them to let them know I can't... plain and simple to me, and that's how I treat every person I deal with. Yet I have people getting bent out of shape with me all the time when I end up dropping them as friends once they start treating me like this... lol
Why is it soooo damn hard for some folks to do these two simple things? |
