You see folks posting the saying "Never make someone a priority who only makes you an option" or "Waste your time on those that wanna waste their time with you" and so on!
Now I totally agree with this outlook and once I see someone just isn't interested or is rude in the common courtesy ways or I just see we aren't going to be friends on any kind of level, I'll just go ahead and take them off my list. When I do almost every single one of them get down-right mad at me!
Now my personal opinion about this is that selfish people in general never consider what someone else thinks or wants or needs ever, and all they can see is their own wants and needs.... so even though they will show no attention to anyone else and do not even show the simple common courtesies to others.... none the less when they don't get the attention they demand, or in this case they see that I have lost interest in them, they blow up over it!
My question is, do you think this is because they are simply selfish folks as I think, or do you think you have another explanation or think I'm just being an ass? |
