| So im sure everyone has an opinion on this subject.. i wanna hear it.. so people on welfare are not currently drug tested i believe. there has been a lot of talk about having them tested in order to get aid from the state. now alot of people feel that if they have to pass a drug test to get a job so should people who want welfare.. the other argument is that drug testing welfare recipients will cost the tax payers even more money.. im actually torn on this one.. i know plenty of welfare moms who spend their cash aid on alcohol and drugs and the kids never have anything to eat but then with the county in financial crisis is it actually going to cost us more in the end? after all if they dont get welfare the kids will go into the system most likely and parents in a county run drug program.. just curious... |
