I seem to get folks pissed off at me pretty regular because once I see someone basically treats me like they can take or leave me, and for the most part show they have no time for me or will blow me off most times, except for the rare occasions where they WANT my attention... I just loose interest in getting to know them any further or becoming friends with them. My outlook is that I am able, and do give folks I'm interested in some attention and time and try to NEVER make them feel like I'm blowing them off, and feel I deserve the same in return. I realize I don't make as many friends as some because of this, but feel it gives me better friends with the ones I do have.
But I have to snicker at how some expect to not have to show me any attention or give any of their time, except when they want my attention and then they will get all kinds of mad because I'm not bending over backwards to ravish them with attention, when they treat me that way all the time, and oh man, do they really get mad when I tell them I've lost interest and am moving on... lol
So what say you... should one expect the same kind of attention and treatment you can give to others in return or am I just a hard ass? lol |
