I come from a large family and are the only one not married and taking care of my 80+ year old folks. I'll be the first to say I am not perfect but I have done it for 4 years now and we have a routine. A sister and a brother live close and help when they can, they have kids in school so anything they do is always appreciated. They give me a some notice so I can have a bit of me time.
I have an older brother who pops in out of the blue and upsets the apple cart. He shows up unannouced and treats them like children and they just take it. I have asked him politely to give me at least an hour or two notice but he busted in tonight and changed everything around. I know they are his parents as well but I am tired of him being a pain, I have asked politely to no avail, it has done no good.
Should I let it slide, even though it drives me and the rents crazy or this time just give him the respect he gives me and cussing he needs and be done with it. I don't want trouble but I don't liked being walked on....
