so my elderly mother has a very big barn that is falling down. I suggested having the fire department burn it down for training BUT she is leaning towards allowing a group of Boy Scouts burn it down durning an order of the arrow ceremony.
Evidently several scouts will shoot flaming arrows into the barn until it catches fire then tell stories and do various skits while the barn burns.
I'm skeptical but she insists that a large number of the scouts already have their lifesaving, first aid, archery, and cooking merit badges... And that two of the scouts have the fire safety merit badge.
Should I insist on the local volunteer fire department or just let the scouts have their ceremony? |
