mum expired. [EVERYONE]

So I'm 32 years old and have never been on a plane before and I'm going to fly to Orlando on Sunday...do I take the Valium the doctor prescribed for me and hope to god that I am awake to make the flight connection, or do I skip the chemicals and hope that I don't piss everyone off on the plane if I happen to freak out?
