Do you think that there now is wayyyy to much paperwork involved in the simplest matters at hand that we have to deal with everyday? Remember when a simple skin tear was a couple steri-strips, tx. for a week...area healed then move on? OR The MRSA, VRE, C-DIFF epidemic (atleast here in PA) was totally non-existent? How about in the 80's...I NEVER remember the bariatric patients we have now in nursing homes and the cost those type of resident need to take care of them (not to mention the staffing...) Roxanol has been a lifesaver though....Remember when we just had Demerol injections to ease people in their time of death?
Enough of that....My ? is: Do you think its better now, or was better back then? |
