| true friendship is a really hard thing to find! every person that has ever said they were my friend has let me down when i needed them the most except for 2, so i really only have 2 friends. i meet people all the time and i offer my friendship to them, i even explain how my friends have done me in the past and thats not the kind of friend i'm looking for!most all say that their not like that and wouldn't do those type of things.to me a real friend can mess up or do whatever to me and as long as they tell the truth then we can get past whatever they done ! i've befriended quite a few since i've gotten out of prison and i'm finding out that most are the same, they take my kindness for weekness and most are only my friends when they need something. now my ? is, do i keep doing my part as a friend even though it costs me so much ,and hope they will one day see friendship as i see it or is there a point where i should cut them off and move on before they hurt me too much, i have a habit of helping until i have nothing!!! |
