I think it is a good thing to be careful about the promises you make. Nothing drives me more crazy that a person that makes a promise or a plan then does not live up to it.

I suppose I will have to tell you a story: Once there was a cute little girl with curly blond........ No no no Once upon a time? Naaa......... Long long ago in a galaxy far far away, Hmmmmm......... How about the moment when I first learned the true nature of time? I know, most folks do not remember the specific instance, But I do. When I was 4 years old ( Yes even I was cute once ), I lived in Taiwan. It was my habit every day to come home from preschool, flop down on the couch, and watch "Wu di cheging gangh" ( a Chinese giant robot cartoon, He could launch his fist like a rocket! Beat that! ). One day the other kids on the bus and I got into some fun ( I do not even remember what ) that delayed me from getting home for an hour or so. I flopped down on the sofa firm in the belief that I could watch Wu di! Because I KNEW ( Much the same way that I knew that turning on the faucet would cause water to flow for me ) that the TV station would broadcast the show when I got home and got comfy on the couch! I learned 2 painful lessons that day. 1 Time moves around me, regardless of what I do! 2 The world does not exist for me alone. Both hard lessons for a 4 year old, and I got them both at once!
