Need to get into shape in the next few weeks. I'm trying to get a job that has PT standards.
The part of the PT test I will have the hardest time with is the running. A big ol fella like me can't run like I used to. I have about 60 days to get my run time up.

Here's the question: Option A Start running hardcore (2 miles at a brisk pace) and just deal with the subsequent pain with advil or option B start slow (1/2 mile or so at an airborne shuffle) and work it up week by week?

I'm afraid if I start slow and work into it I won't have the time I need to get the time where I need it to be...but I don't want to hurt myself so bad that I can't run at all.
