Coming from an external view, it seems as though America is almost at civil war given the amount of gun related deaths a year. In Australia where I live where have VERY few gun related deaths per year, infact I think its something like 3 or so per year, as aposed to the thousands in the US. So this raises the question, should the US change its gun laws to at least make it harder to get hold of guns? And to completely ban some of them. I mean seriously what does anyone rationally need an assult rifle for, unless you're at war? I understand there are alot of scared people in America, who only feel better when they are holding a gun, but having free availibility of 'arms' makes things less safe. Here in Australia we have tight gun controls, this doesn't impact on our freedom as someone tried telling me, indeed in alot of area's Australia has more freedoms then America. Its more about public safty and common sense. So my question is, should the US tighten its gun laws |
