| Ok, so a friend of mine has a baby foal who just turned 3 months old. The mother has to be put down due to nerve damage she sustained during delivery. well my mare has been used as a nursemaid before so i think theres a good chance she will "adopt" the colt. They are asking only a small fee for what looks to be a very nice foal with an extremely nice temperment. HOWEVER I already have 4 other horses and a foal will take up a great deal of time and energy, though I'm sure it will be a rewarding experience. So one one side I have a full time job, im in college and i am a peewee cheer coach and pretty busy.... but on the other I have been raising and training horses all my life and know I could give him a good home. Should I go for it or not? |
