Last week my boss called saying some people needed a DJ asap for a party.I would have to go right then and get all my gear,get all dressed up and go.The show would pay me $200 and my boss $200.
I told my boss I couldn't do it.I had promised my son that we would go to the arcade/pizza place and I did not want to hurt him.My boss called back saying I would get $250 and asked me what was more important making $250 or eating pizza with my son? He told me that at least I would be making money and not spending it.I told him that if I didn't have the money to be spending,we wouldn't be going.He said that my son is only 5 and would get over it and I said that I was never going to break a promise to my son no matter how old he is.He just couldn't understand me turning down the job and picking my son over money.He doesn't have kids so maybe thats why he doesn't get it.I think any parent would have done the same thing I did.So here's the mumm
