sooo my 5 year old son, got put on the wrong bus by his teacher, and then the bus driver let him off at the wrong stop, he wandered in a neighborhood on campus (which i looked up on the sex offender registry and discovered 8 sex offenders in that neighborhood) before a good Samaritan took him to the campus police station where they were able to decipher his name and school. the school contacted my mother, not me, and she went to the cop shop to get my lil boy. it has been 6 weeks now, i haven't gotten (not that i am looking for it but) any contact about how the bus driver was disciplined, an apology maybe, an explanation as to how this situation will not happen in the future.
i don't want to sue, the school system is underfunded as it is...but both the school system and bus company put my son in a huge amount of risk...and haven't done any kind of follow up or communication with me about this potentially tragic situation.
should i sue? |
