I live in Michigan. Don't really like it except for summer but I put my roots down many years ago because the employment was always good here up until lately that is. But I am still gainfully employed in the construction industry

I like to enjoy fine dining at quality restaurants. Also I enjoy gourmet cooking, drinking good wine & Champagne (red mostly; cabernets, merlots, red zin & some pinots & syrah).

In the spring through early fall months of the year my main interest is boating on the Great Lakes. Lake Erie in particular. I have a 28 foot Bayliner cruiser I have had since May 2002 that was purchased new at the Boat Show. What a riot! Cruising to Put-In-Bay, Kelly's Island or just finding ourselves drifting out on the lake simply enjoying the sun and the rocking of the waves.

When not hanging out at the marina, I garden and participate in competitive cooking. Chili cook offs to be exact. I started in 1998 at a cook off in Plymouth Michigan at the Fall Festival and eventually won my first cook off there in 2000. What a blast! Chili cooks are a great bunch of people called "Chili Heads". Since then I was lucky enough to win a cook off in 2006 at Beulah Park near Columbus, Ohio and have cooked at the World Championships 3X. Once in Laughlin, Nevada in 2000,and Omaha, Nebraska in 2006. I also went to Las Vegas and cooked at Last Chance Cook Off in 2008 but didn't qualify for the World Championship

I am also an amateur family genealogist. I have been studying my family genealogy for nearly 11 years now and have written a book with plans to publish in 2010. It's nearly 1600 pages with all sorts of old photos, family Bible information, listings of births, deaths, marriages, cemetery locations, military histories, and stories about the way life was in years gone by.

When I am not working, and have the time and opportunity, I love to attend sporting venues like major league baseball, hockey and football. Not to mention college football which I am extremely fond of. To me, there is nothing like being at a game in person. It's especially gratifying when the home teams wins. I must say I have been a huge Tiger fan all my life. And like many of us in Detroit, a disappointed Detroit Lions fan. But all is well following the red Wings! Go Wings!!

I also enjoy vacationing with the family. I spent many summer weekends, Memorial weekends, 4th of July, Labor Day weekends by camping and enjoying the great outdoors. I have camped all over Michigan enjoying the many state parks, lakes and rivers. For many years I have traveled to Cadiz and Hopkinsville, Kentucky to visit family and attend family reunions. I particularly have enjoyed taking the family to visit the old family farm which is located south of Cadiz, KY.

I also have enjoyed flying to Florida and visiting the Keys, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale. I have flown to San Francisco on business and pleasure several times and spent 4th of July on Fisherman's Wharf and later went to Napa Valley for 3 days. Another fun place I enjoy very much is Louisville, KY and attending the Kentucky Derby. Toronto, Niagara Falls and Chicago have also been some of my favorite destination places.

I belong to the Kentucky Colonels, the Elks, the Moose and the International Chili Society.

I like to think of myself as funny, a prankster, fun loving and I really enjoy people who like to laugh, hang out and have fun. I don't smoke and don't care to be around it. I really enjoy women. I love to flirt and socialize with the opposite sex. I love curvaceous women that are well endowed and physically fit. A beautiful smile is also important along with long full hair. Color is not important just as long as the style looks healthy and sexy.

Turn-on’s for me are simple. They are people who are out going and up beat who are always looking to do something new and interesting. A big happy smile is always welcome. Honesty.

Turn offs for me are drugs, a negative attitude, laziness, people who are ill mannered, don’t care about other people by either being rude, obnoxious, insensitive or inconsiderate of others around them. Men who are abusive towards women really upset me as does women who constantly complain about other men or women. The biggest turn off for me is people who will lie or cheat to get what they want.
