| I am getting married in March in Las Vegas. My fiance has 3 teenagers 19,17 and 14, one of which lives with us. My fiances exwife got remarried about 6 months ago, a friend made their wedding cake, they were there at the time and the grooms son spit in the cake while it was being made and the kids never said anything to their mom about it. Then last month we took the 2 older kids on a military trip out of state. We told them to be on their best behavior and some how that translated in the teenage brain into throw things at the table, eat without silverware, swallow sugar packets at the table (this was all by the 19 year old). I have great reservations on inviting his son who is the 19year old. If he behaved so badly at a military event, how can I be sure he wont throw meatballs at my grandmother or toss black paint on my dress. Afterall we are going to be in Las Vegas and I don't feel like the 2 of us should have to babysit his grown son. His son just called today and thinks we are also going to invite his 16 year old girlfriend to the wedding. So here is the question do we invite him and hope for the best or tell him his behavior is not appropriate enough to be invited |
