Yes it is true that most shy guys have a hard time initiating a conversation or making the first move. And yes it is true that shy guys have a protective wall built up. But it's not that we don't want to be the guy that can walk up and pick a woman out the crowd and sweep her off her feet. And it's not the fact that we don't know how. Its that our heart and brain stopped communicating with each other a long time ago, for whatever the reason, basically when a woman makes contact with the shy guy his brain is moving 90 miles an hour processing a hundred thoughts per second, such as eye color, hair, smell, the way she smiles, but the brain doesn't release the adrenalin to make the initial approach. Or can release too much adrenalin that it just causes the guy to freeze, and not say anything even when being spoken to. In some cases the guy is intimidated by a woman because is so beautiful and has such an awesome personality he believes that "she couldn't possibly see anything in me." So acting on impulse is just completely out of the question, everything has to be well thought out and meticulously timed so as not to say something stupid or desperate, which ultimately ends up being too late and the woman moves on. But if a woman is dealing with a shy guy on a daily basis then chances are he's more in tune with her than she actually knows, he notices today that she has trimmed an inch off of her hair or has painted her nails or has a different fragrance. Sometimes he can even sense a different mood or behavior. But the real problem is that women need to let these men know that it's OK to act on impulse. Especially if her feelings for him are mutual. I don't know I used to not have this problem but after being married for 13 years some switch got turned off and I don't know how to turn it back on now that Im single and alone. Please comment I would like to see it from a woman's perspective.
