A good friend of mine and I were having a good theological discussion (him being the good Christian he is) and we both have always had open minds, when the topic of the Rock Musical Jesus Christ Superstar came up, part of the discussion I won (thanks to the internet it is 35 not 25 years old), but I have always liked it and his feeling was that it is anti-Christian going against the bible. I always thought that it brought people back to God, but he did make some very good counter points.
Now I am sitting on a fence on whether it was against teachings of the Gospel or in its way did bring more people back to God (not organized religion).
So help me make up my mind.
Was it wrong teachings of the Gospel?
