I am Jessica from Hunstville Alabama. I am 35 years old and have studied Wicca since I was about 13 and seriously for the past 10 years.I have been interested in it since I was about 7 or 8 and knew it was something I wanted to learn more about but due to circumstances I was unable to learn til I was 13. Although I have studied it for a long time, I have also studied Shamanism, Buddhism,Animal Medicine and totems, Native American medicine or the Red Road as many call it and other forms of spirituality as well as the Christian faith. I am currently involved in Native American studies which includes spirituality as well as the Cherokee language. I do not label myself as just one thing. I take from all walks that which is true. My family was Christian but had a deep rooted belief in folk magic and medicine as well so I have been influenced by those also. I try to keep an open mind even though sometimes people strain me to close it before it fills with bull sh*t. I don't particularly like labels and find them constrictive. I want to be like the wind and flow through life not be tied down to one thing and closed minded to different things. If my mind is closed then it may miss a very important part of the journey. I have come to realize that my belief system does not have a label because there is a measure of truth in everything but its up to you to find it. Thats the journey that we are all on... not for religion but for truth. I own my own website where I sell original products made by me and Im also an ebay seller. I am also a published writer as well as doing free lance journalism. I have worked hard to own my own business and be self sufficient before I was 35. I am proud to say that after working for other people since I was 14 I now can say I work for myself and did it with the help of the Lord and Lady. Nothing I do nor any creative talents or gifts I may have are my own. They are all due to the influence of spirituality and deity in my life. Brightest Blessings and Namaste.
