I joined the Air Force after high school and spend two years in Alaska. I have been as cold as I ever want to be. The east end of the island is 200 miles from the mainland at Nome, Alaska. The west end is thirty five miles Cape Chaplan, Russia.
After the Air Force, I moved to Houston Texas and went to Univ. of Houston.
While I was going to college, I joined the Navy Reserve and served aboard the USS Haynesworth, out of Galveston, TX. I served on her for three yrs crusing the Gulf of Mexico and the Southern Atlantic, stopping off in Jamacia, and GITMO several times.
I bought out the owner of a small truck-stop in Rogers Ark and was in business for about 4 years. I went broke finally and went to work for WalMart.. Ugh
