So lately I have taken up going to a bar and doing karaeoke with a buddy of mine every Thursday after softball. I know, I know, it sounds corny, but hey...don't knock it till you try it!! Anyway, I'm not trying to be conceited, but I get a lot of compliments when I go. I get cheered for, people suggest kamikaze songs to try and make me screw up, and I get a lot of requests to sing duets with people.
Here's the thing...there's a contest coming up, and I'm kinda wanting to participate....cuz guess what the 1st prize winner gets????
DEF LEPPARD TICKETS!!!
I want to compete, I really do, but I'm pretty self conscious. Not to mention it's the pressure that gets the best of me.
Should I go for it?? |
