| Yesterday at work I did a couple of henna tattoos that came out great. The customers where mother and daughter. I asked them if I could take a picture of the tattoos and they said yes. I told them I would be posting the picture to instagram. The daughter asked me for my instagram name so she could tag me in a pic of the final result. I gave it to her and she thanked me. After they left my boss calls me over and says " I don't want you to be giving out your personal instagram name because people need to realize this is a combined business and your not a private henna artist." He says this to me with a shit attitude. He has a facebook page and instagram for the business but posts NONE of my work, just his. He has told me he will post the pics but still just his work gets posted. He then continues with " I want you to make a name for yourself but you cant give out your personal pages because people will think that you are your own business." How the fuck can I make a name for myself if people have no idea who the fuck I am and what work I can do? Later on last night I got a message from a boss of mine I work for during bike week asking me if I want to do henna at his shop on beachside. I said yes and I go to meet with him tomorrow to discuss it. My question is this....should I keep both jobs or dump my current 3 days a week job and focus solely on this new adventure? |
