our school district has sent home notes that there will be fines if your child is caught w/ a cell phone in their possession at school.
two of the four have cell phones, simply because of after-school hours. i want to make sure everything's going as it should, i want them to have a way to contact me should something go wrong, blah blah blah, but really they think that they got them for good behavior. it has not been pointed out to them that it benefits me too that they have a phone.
they have been preached and preached to that (1) they're not to have it out during school hours and (2) if it's confiscated by the school that i will not pay the fine to get it back and will not buy another one.
would you still allow your child to carry their cell phone to school? |
