First and foremost, I am a mother. I protect, provide, nurture and love two terrific little boys. They are a full time job in itself, but it is the most rewarding job I could ever imagine.

We relocated to Conroe, Texas in October 2007. I graduated high school in Spring, so the area is not totally new to me, but I have been living on the eastern seaboard nearly 10 years. My father and stepmom live about 13 miles from me, so that was a driving force in this move. My mother passed away last year and I found myself hundreds of miles from family with much responsibility. New home, new atmosphere, new church, and coming soon....more new friends. It is all very exciting!!! This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made and I find myself happier than I have been in years already.

I am sensible, yet unpredictable. I love excitement and adventure, but I can find adventure in everyday things. I have a good sense of humor and can dish it out as good as I can take it. My friends would describe me as frisky, sometimes brutally honest, trustworthy, and competent. I am determined, goal-oriented, and strong minded. I am not really superstitious, but the definition of a capricorn usually describes me to a 'T.'

I am also very loyal, nurturing, and caring. I choose to trust until given a reason not too, but if that trust is broken it cannot be recovered. I learned that the hard way and I don't have the time or energy to second guess anyone. There are no "games" here, I just call it like I see it. If that's you, then I'd love to hear from you. If you lack integrity and are incapable of doing what you say and follow through then please, don't even bother. Honesty and integrity are my two requirements that will never change.

I have been married the bulk of my adult life and am now taking some time to see who I am. I am not in a rush to get into anything serious, but I do know what I want. I am exploring new interests and developing a sense of self. I am making improvements within myself, my lifestyle, career, and at home. I am striving to reach a place that is unnamed, but I am confident that when I find it it will feel like paradise.

All of that being said, I am traditional in many ways. I have to be with a man that I respect. Someone with strong character and integrity. Someone who will give me my way because he cares for my happiness, not because I've overpowered him...and someone that won't always give me my way. A man that's not afraid of hard work or to admit when he's wrong. Someone who will talk as well as listen. A man that will let me care for the family and in return will make caring for me his first priority. A man that not only has dreams and goals, but knows how to execute them.

I believe that people do not take enough time in this busy world to, as they say, "smell the roses." I actually know most of the neighbors on my block. No matter how busy I am I will take the time to be with friends and help people in any way possible. I think that when my time is up I will never say "I wish I'd spent more time working." We as humans are made to have relationships and to interact with others. Having different people around adds spice to our life.

I do my very best to attend church weekly. I enjoy this time out to reflect and divert my focus from the hectic life I lead to BIGGER things. It does not mean that I am even close to perfect or have a complex about myself. I have struggles just like everyone else. I make bad decisions and do undesireable things, too. I just believe that God knows our hearts and he knows how hard it is to be in our station.
