I opened a small computer repair shop just over 3 years ago. When I began there was 1 computer to work with and one computer to sell and a bench full of used parts and equipment. I barely had enough for the rent for the month and a small list of clients. Now I have a decent inventory of used and some new parts, laptops and home computers.I would like to expand and grow.
My dream is to own my own building since I now rent and that is a good waste of money I could be using to build something I own. From the time I was a child my father taught me "If you can't afford it, you don't need it." and many other ways to save a few bucks when I can. I have never had any credit cards, never bought a vehicle unless I could afford it CASH, never started making payments on a house and have never bought anything on credit. So the only credit I have does not look that good as stupid things like Serria Water says I still owe them money yet have the final recipts, and 2 other small blemishes on my credit report from years ago when I moved and did not get EVERYTHING paid on time. I own 2 used vehicles that aren't worth mention but are reliable. I live in the back of my computer shop and eat and live VERY meekly to save money but have very little show for it says the bank...
So, to MAKE UP MY MIND, I am Respectfully Requesting any opinions on how I should go from here. I have priced some Very Affordable buildings, (affordable to whom?) and have found 2 locations ranging from $50,000 to $150,000 of which NEITHER can I afford. I have SBA applications in but have had no response. I have talked to 1 investor but was shot down as "technology just changes too much for such an investment" he says. Any other suggestions are welcome and Very Much appreciated. |
