My mother had her ankle & foot removed approx 7-months ago and receiving in home care and the Nurses say that the Doctor is'nt doing proper care for this women and now she has an infection and the Doctor wants to remove the leg to her knee as he feels the infection is in her bone.The only testing that has been done to her is Xrays and visiting the Doctor.

A)Should I enforce the Doctor to perform more testing of diagnosis?
B)Go by the Doctor's word and allow him to remove up to the knee?
