Mom's been fighting MRSA for the past many months.
In her particular case, she has been through surgery and hospitalized twice already to remove masses. She is again scheduled for surgery on Tuesday.
Have you or anyone you know had experience with MRSA, and what is the outlook?
I know she has to practice preventive care for the rest of her life, but any input on home remedies or even prescription care (she is allergic to Sulfa drugs, which are the primarily prescribed remedy) would be helpful.
For those that don't know, MRSA is the drug-resistant form of staph, usually causing bodily abscesses and skin irritations around mucous membranes. My cousin died from an internal staph infection, and that is my ultimate concern here.
