I got a frantic phone call from my friend in Iowa saying his mother had had a heart attack and would be traveling to Illinois for a couple of days. He said he would be without cell phone or internet use for "a day or two".
That was back on April 29th of this year and I haven't heard from him since. Understand that we usually text every single day and write emails or call frequently so this is completely "unlike him".
There's not much I can do..except pray and hope that everything is okay. So to make this a mumm...what should I do? Hope for the best or Expect the worst? |
